First Appointment
How exciting! Thank you for joining us. After booking your appointment, you will receive forms about your health history. We'd appreciate if you can fill them out prior to your appointment. If you feel comfortable with signing them, please do so as well. This will help with the flow of your appointment. You will be welcomed with tea catered to your appointment needs and guided the rest of the way by your dedicated acupuncturist. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for access to your affected areas that you're seeking treatment along with your arms and legs. Should you have any questions prior, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate.
Style
At HOL Heailng, we are adept in many forms of holistic medicine and choose what is best for the specific patient's experience along with their comforts and needs. This includes Japanese and Chinese style needling, orthopedic and dry needling, and scalp and auricular needling. We also offer non-needle approaches like magnet therapy, ion pumping cords, seeds, and gentle presstacks. When most suitable, we offer adjuncts like manual therapy such as tui na massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa, and e-stim. As an add-on, we also offer different styles of cosmetic acupuncture. We will meet you where you are and collaborate with you on how we can best be of service.
How many appointments?
Chinese medicine is based on the understanding that every patient is unique, and so too are the appointment needs. Conditions that have been occurring for long periods of time typically require more care and appointments. Chronic conditions can be complex and acupuncture focuses on treating the source while simultaneously alleviating the symptoms. More acute conditions can typically be treated with less appointments. This is a proactive medicine where patients receive treatments to prevent issues and treat them as they occur. Many people find that receiving care regularly suits their health journey. We will collaborate on what is best for your health journey together.
Cost
We value the quality of your care. We strive to create a very catered and unique experience for every appointment that best suits and supports your health needs. Your financial contribution allows for the appointments to be very private, focused and tailored to only you. While this is the cost that affords us to do that, we understand that everyone has unique needs. If HOL Healing feels like the healing space for you and you'd like to discuss more about a financial agreement between us, please do reach out. We are happy to explore options together!
Packages
We do not currently offer packages or membership pricing. We want you to book every appointment with us with strong intentions and purpose for your healing journey. Each session is designed based on your unique condition, symptoms, and treatment goals. By encouraging patients to schedule each appointment as needed, we can fully assess your progress and adjust treatments accordingly. This approach ensures that we focus on what is most relevant and beneficial for you at any given time, allowing for a more thoughtful and dynamic treatment plan.
Insurance
We are currently out of network with insurance providers. After each session, you can settle payment with HOL Healing and we will create a super bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We will list appropriate coding on your super bill for your insurance provider to know what medical conditions were treated, how they were treated, and how much you paid. Our hopes are to offer care that is needed, not by what is or is not covered by your insurance policy. Your insurance company can let you know what is covered within your policy.
